Here are my top seven reasons for following their lead: Reason #1: More energy. Chia seeds give me more energy for barefoot running than any other supplement I've tried. Once you try chia seeds you will see what I mean. You will probably still want to consume some other drink and food if you are barefoot running 5 miles or more; but using chia seeds will give the most energy. Reason #2: Clean energy. If you've had the same experience I have, using most commercial energy supplements can leave you feeling "icky" and over-sugared.
